How AnimArts Works

Everything about commissioning with us, on one page — choosing a service, pricing it with the calculator, getting your quote, paying safely in milestones, and following every step in your live project hub.

From the first look at a price to the review you leave at the end

You send one quote. Everything after it — the tracker, the portal, the payment plan, the delivery thread — is already waiting for you.

Stage 1

Before you get in touch

On the site. Nothing asked of you yet.
01

Browse the work

02

Pick a service and tier

Every service has its own pricing page, and every tier its own delivery estimate

03

Size it in the calculator

The total and the estimate both move as you tick

Stage 2

It sets itself up

Automatic. You do nothing here.
05

Stage 3

Agreeing the scope

In the portal. Nothing starts until this is signed.

Accept, or suggest changes

Untick what you do not want and send it back

09

Sign it with your name

You get a printable agreement of what was agreed

10

The payment plan is set

A deposit, then milestones tied to real progress

Step 08 can go back to 07 as many times as it needs to.

Stage 4

Building it

Portal and Upwork, together.
11

Awaiting payment

An Upwork contract for that milestone, held in escrow

12

The portal does not close when the project does.
16

Your files stay put

Every delivery downloadable from the portal

17

Leave a review

It may appear on our reviews page, credited to you

18

Same portal, no signing up again

Step 18 begins the whole thing again from 02.

Worth knowing before you start

How long will it take?

Every tier on every pricing page carries its own delivery estimate, and the calculator updates it as you configure — so you have a figure before you send anything. The milestone plan then sets the pace, and the tracker shows where the current one stands.

Commissioned more than one thing?

Each service becomes its own project with its own scope and milestones — and you still get a single email for the whole order.

Lost your link?

Enter your email on the tracker page and a fresh one is sent. The old link stops working — that is what keeps the project yours.

The bell does the chasing

New message, new delivery, payment due — a badge appears the moment it happens, and tapping it lands you on the exact thing.

Need to add something mid-project?

Request extra scope from the portal. Additions only — nothing already paid for or delivered can be pulled out — and the studio confirms it first.

Keep the portal on your phone

Your portal can be added to your home screen and opened like an app, notifications included. Nothing to download from a store.

Choosing your service

Start on the Services page — it lists everything we do: Live2D character art and rigging, 3D models, illustration, stream overlays, AI-powered services, video editing, and game & web development. Each service links to its own pricing page with tiers, what is included, and real examples.

  • Packages — fixed tiers with a clear list of what is included. The fastest way to order something well-defined.
  • Custom scope — mix exactly what you need with the calculator, or describe it in the quote form and we will scope it for you.

Looking for ready-made emote packs, badges or assets instead? Those live in the shop — instant checkout, no quote needed.

Not sure what fits? Check finished work on the portfolio and real feedback on the reviews page, or simply ask us — we are happy to recommend the smallest package that gets the result you want.

Tip: already have art and only need rigging (or the other way round)? The Live2D calculator has Art Only and Rigging Only modes — you never pay for a bundle you do not need.

Sizing it with the calculator

Every pricing page has a live calculator, so you see a realistic number before you ever talk to us — it runs on the same data our real quotes are built from.

  1. Pick your pipeline — scope modes like Art Only, Rigging Only or Art + Rig set the base of the estimate.
  2. Choose your options — body coverage, expressions, toggles, animations and add-ons each show their own price as you select them.
  3. Try a preset — one-click presets fill a sensible combination for common setups, which you can then tweak freely.
  4. Read the estimate — the total updates live, item by item.

Good to know: the calculator gives an accurate estimate. Your final quote is always confirmed by a human — if anything in your request changes the price, we tell you before any payment is due.

Getting your quote

Happy with the estimate? Hit Get This on the calculator (or any Get Quote button on the site). A short three-step form opens: review your selections, tell us about yourself, and confirm.

Only your name and email are required. Everything else is optional — drop your socials (Discord, Twitter/X, YouTube, Twitch, Instagram) if you like, pick a timeline and budget bracket, add reference links and notes, or tick extra services for one combined multi-service quote.

The moment you hit Submit Inquiry:

  • You get a reference ID like AA-2026-0142 — your commission's identity from here on.
  • Your full quote summary — service, package, every selection and the estimated total — lands in your inbox instantly, together with your private project link.
  • We then follow up personally on email to confirm the details and agree your milestone plan — on bigger projects we may ask a couple of clarifying questions first.

No spam, ever: the form creates one inquiry — your email is used for your quote and project updates, nothing else.

Paying safely, in milestones

Payments follow a milestone plan we agree together in your quote — typically an upfront deposit to start, with the rest split across milestones tied to real progress. The exact split is set per project, so it always matches the work.

Service payments currently run through Upwork contracts: we send a contract for the agreed milestone, you fund it, and Upwork holds the money in escrow — it is only released to us when you approve that milestone. Upwork gives you buyer protection plus automatic receipts and invoices, and you can verify our Upwork profile before paying a cent.

  • Your project hub shows every milestone — what is paid and what comes next.
  • Prefer a different arrangement? Say so in your quote notes — we always confirm the method and the split with you before anything is due.
  • Shop items (emote packs, badges, assets) check out instantly — no milestones needed.

Refunds: every payment is covered by our refund policy — worth a read before your first milestone.

How your project is managed

Once your quote is confirmed and the deposit milestone is in, your commission enters production and your project page becomes mission control:

  • Milestones — the plan we agreed, each with its own status and payment state.
  • Live status — your project moves through Submitted → Contacted → In progress → Delivered, with progress updates along the way.
  • Regular updates — WIP previews and notes land in your project chat and timeline. You are never left wondering what is happening.
  • Deliveries — every WIP and final is posted as a delivery you can preview, approve, or send back with change notes.

Revisions: use Request changes on a delivery and write exactly what to adjust — it goes straight into the work queue with your notes attached. The revision rounds included with your package are listed with each tier on its pricing page.

The live tracker, A to Z

Every commission gets its own live tracker. The personal link from your confirmation email signs you straight in and opens your project — nothing to set up, nothing to remember.

  • Status and timeline — where the project is right now, and everything that has happened so far.
  • Milestones and payments — what is agreed, what is paid, what is due next, with the pay action right there when a payment is requested.
  • Deliveries — preview every WIP and final, then Approve or Request changes in one click.
  • Review — after a delivery you can leave a rating and a few words, which may appear on our reviews page.

Lost your link? Enter your email on the tracker page (your reference ID helps, but is optional) and a fresh link lands in your inbox within moments.

Scope changes — when the studio proposes the scope, or proposes a revision to it, you can accept it or send it back with your own changes. Accepting is signed with your typed name, and you get a printable agreement of exactly what was agreed.

The client portal

Your client portal is created automatically with your very first inquiry — the tracker, the chat and the portal are one connected home for your projects, and your personal link arrives in the same confirmation email.

  • Project rail — every project you have run with us, with unread-message and deliveries-to-review badges.
  • Chat — talk to the studio per project, with files and images shared right in the thread.
  • Overview pane — status, payments, milestones, files and the full activity history of the selected project.
  • Files — deliveries and shared files in one place, downloadable any time.
  • Your profile — add a profile picture so we recognise you at a glance.

Signing in later: just enter your email on the portal page and a fresh sign-in link is emailed to you. Your tracker link works too — it opens the same home.

Notifications — a bell in the navbar tells you the moment something happens: a new message, a delivery to review, a payment due. Tapping it takes you to the exact item rather than the top of the page, and you can turn the sounds on or off in Settings.

Keep it on your phone — the portal can be added to your home screen and opened like an app, notifications included. There is nothing to download from a store.

Quick answers

The questions new clients ask most — the full FAQ covers much more.

Do I need an account to commission?

No. The quote form is all it takes — your portal and tracker are created automatically, and your personal links arrive by email. Signing in later is just entering your email for a fresh link.

When do I pay?

Only when a milestone is agreed and requested — typically an upfront deposit before work starts, then per milestone as the project progresses. With Upwork contracts, funds sit in escrow until you release them.

What if I want changes?

Every delivery has a Request changes button — write your notes and they go straight to the artist. The revision rounds included with your package are listed on its pricing page.

How do I know where my project is?

Your tracker shows live status, progress and milestones 24/7, and your project chat is the fastest way to ask anything mid-project.

Can I see work you have delivered?

Yes — the portfolio shows finished work, and the reviews page aggregates real client feedback, including per-project reviews left from trackers like yours.
